About the Job

The Finance Capital Markets Products Controller mission is to ensure the reliability, sincerity, integrity and the exhaustiveness of the accounting delivered by the upstream chains (Front to Back) and organization (Operations – Back and Middle Office). This position works actively as a finance business partner.

Your Main Activities Are

• Ensure the accounting control level one on a dedicated perimeter of products within your team and ensure proper justification on all accounting control, among which is reconciliation with operations data inventory and reconciliation of sensitive accounts.
• Ensure a good collaboration with all partners and animate the relation by anticipating any known issues (pre‑closing), as well as ensure fluid communication during closing period and formalise issues and present them to avoid them next time (post‑closing).
• Contribute to continuous improvement of the control set‑up and ensure permanent evolutions are realised to avoid manual adjustments.
• Formalisation of team procedures and operating guides, which include participation of training and coaching for new joiners; formalisation of onboarding materials; and active participation in management and department staff meetings.
• Contribute or lead projects related to the efficiency of the processes and systems, as well as propose new developments or improvements in the existing chain, to secure the processes and reduce the operational risk.
• Support and cover N‑1 during its absences or unavailability on parallel perimeters.

Profile and Skills to Success

• Academic background in Economics, Finance and Accounting.
• At least 3 years of experience in Accounting and Finance.
• Knowledge of MS Office PACK Microsoft Excel.
• Fluent in English.
• Analytical ability.
• Ability to develop and adapt a process.
• Ability to collaborate.
• Attention to detail.
• Results driven.
