Overview

Capital Portfolio Management Data Analyst role at BNP Paribas CIB in the Securitised Product Group (SPG) within Global Banking EMEA – Capital Markets.

Main responsibilities

• The Capital Portfolio Management Data Analyst sits in the Resource & Portfolio Management (RPM) Team, responsible for booking transactions, managing cash flows, and ensuring correct regulatory Capital calculation to achieve optimum Capital savings.
• Act as point of contact with investors during the life of the transaction and for regulatory reporting; develop expertise in transaction management and regulatory Capital of the Bank.
• Work with data to assess Capital savings on transactions and develop interest in Python/SQL; ensure contractual commitments related to RPM transactions are fulfilled.

Your Main Activities Are

• Advisory role in
  - trade phase liaising with Origination and Structuring to assess feasibility
• Booking transactions in Front-Office or Bank systems
• Monitor and pay invoices to Third Parties (Investors, Brokers and Insurers)
• Calculate correct Capital savings by ensuring appropriate RWA in quarterly Capital process
• Quarterly updates of capital structure and coupon computation/validation
• Identify claims based on rating triggers in underlying portfolios
• Provide reporting to Validation Agent, Investors, Regulators, and internal stakeholders

Profile And Skills To Success

• Master-'s degree in Engineering, Finance, Maths or Economics
• Up to 2 years of relevant experience
• Interest in VBA, Python, or data analytics tools such as SQL
• Fluency in English (mandatory)
• Advanced knowledge of Office package (Excel)
