SHIFTS Monday - Friday (39 hours between 08:00AM - 16:30PM)

With a base in 5 European countries and a growing presence in mainland Europe, we are looking for a Carrier Manager with focus on Iberia & Central Europe to play a major role in our Freight Services team. You'll be the key contact for our carrier partners in the region — developing strategic relationships, expanding capacity, supporting RFQ management, and improving service reliability. This role directly supports GBA’s ambitious goals around network expansion, digital transformation, and sustainable logistics.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrier Relationship Management & Compliance
• Develop and manage
  - term relationships with key FTL carriers across Spain, Portugal, France, Germany & Morocco.
• Cultivate strategic partnerships with key carriers on a regular basis.
• Organise regular
  - site visits and performance reviews.
• Contract implementation and management with carriers.
• Collaborate with IT and procurement analysts to support operational and sales teams in
  - related activities.
• RFQ Pipeline & Pricing Strategy
• Lead RFQ participation and capacity sourcing for regional tenders.
• Increase pricing accuracy and competitiveness while reducing RFQ turnaround time through
  - informed sourcing and scalability.
• Collaborate with internal GBA depots to implement a regional pricing and
  - based framework.
• Promote and increase participation in GBA’s Responsible Supplier Award across Eastern European carriers.
• Contribute to Scope 3 emission reductions through partner engagement in intermodal and alternative fuel solutions.
  
You:


• Strategic thinker and relationship builder, fluent in Portuguese, Spanish & English
• 5+ years of experience in carrier management, freight procurement, or supply chain operations in the EU.
• Strong knowledge of FTL market dynamics and Iberia logistics ecosystems.
• Experience with TMS, SRM, and data tools like Power BI.
• Passion for logistics innovation, compliance excellence, and collaborative growth.
• Willingness to travel across the region for supplier development and site visits.
