Reporting to the Head of Transactional Accounting Portugal, Inspired Group is looking for a highly motivated and
- oriented individual to join its finance team as a Cash and Treasury Specialist in its Lisbon office.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Monitor daily cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for school operations.
• Process daily banking transactions in the accounting system.
• Optimize cash management by effectively handling receivables and payables.
• Support the budgeting and forecasting processes with accurate cash flow data.
• Perform financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
• Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions.
• Oversee bank account activities, including opening, closing, and managing account signatories.
• Execute and oversee treasury transactions such as payments, transfers, and investments.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to cash and treasury functions.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to protect the organization’s financial assets.
• Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Provide financial insights and guidance to school administrators.
• Work with external auditors and regulatory bodies as needed.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field;
• At least 3-5 years of experience in cash management, treasury, or a similar financial role;
• Strong knowledge of treasury functions, financial instruments, and cash flow forecasting;
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel);
• Excellent analytical,
  - solving, and organizational skills;
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
• Fluency in Portuguese and English.
