Certified Accountant

Responsibilities

• Monitor financial issues including Accounting, Taxation and Treasury Management of the Portugal entities of the group;
• Able to proactively understand the business and provide financial insights and make appropriate financial interpretation;
• Responsible for ensuring that companies in Portugal comply with Group finance, internal control policies and local regulatory requirements;
• Work closely with the business and senior management to help them interpret financial data, understand profitability and make better commercial decisions;
• Assist management on yearly budgets, forecasts and long term business projections preparation for management purposes;
• Work collaboratively with the group finance team to provide analysis on monthly reporting and
  - hoc projects;
• Highlight potential risks / key issues on timely basis for Management attention;
• Assist management for any special account/finance related assignment in the company as required;

Requirements

• Familiar with local financial compliance and taxation regulation;
• A certified accountant in Portugal;
• With 5-6 years of finance and accounting experience;
• Hands-on project management skills in implementing systems, process mapping and driving changes;
• Good analytical, strategic thinking and strong business sense;
• Strong integrity and able to work and grow with the company;
• Excellent communication, management skills and influencing skills;
• Fluent in written and spoken Portuguese, English and Mandarin;
• Occasional Travel among EU is required;
• Based in Lisbon, Portugal;
