We are looking for a Certified Accountant, with a valid registration with the Order of Certified Accountants (OCC), to join our internal team. At Gro-vida, an innovative and growing company, we value excellence, accuracy, and collaboration.

The selected professional will be responsible for ensuring strict compliance with tax and accounting obligations, maintaining the integrity of financial records, and actively contributing to the company's budget planning and financial control.

• Department: Finance

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise the company’s general accounting, in accordance with the Portuguese Accounting Standards System (SNC) and other applicable regulations.
• Prepare and submit periodic tax returns (VAT, Corporate Tax, Personal Income Tax, IES, etc. ).
• Prepare financial statements and monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports.
• Ensure compliance with all legal and tax obligations before the relevant authorities.
• Support external and internal audits by providing all required documentation.
• Monitor customer and supplier accounts.
• Implement and improve internal accounting procedures.
• Stay up to date with changes in tax and accounting legislation.
• Participate in the preparation and analysis of the annual budget and monitor the company’s financial performance.

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting, Management, Finance, or a related field.
• Valid registration with the Order of Certified Accountants (OCC).
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in similar roles (preferably in a corporate environment).
• Solid knowledge of Portuguese taxation.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e. g. , Primavera, PHC, Sage, etc. ).
• Strong skills in Excel and MS Office.
• Accuracy, organization, a strong sense of responsibility, and ability to work independently.
• Good communication skills and a
  - oriented mindset.
