About the Role

Are you a
- driven Certified Accountant with strong technical expertise and a passion for process improvement? We’re looking for a motivated professional to join our Finance team and take an active role in ensuring compliant, efficient, and insightful accounting across our group.

This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative business environment , where you will not only handle accounting and compliance but also play a key role in optimizing processes through Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC/Navision) .

You will report directly to the Group Finance Manager , working closely with both local and international teams.

What You’ll Do

• Ensure accurate accounting and compliance with SNC and Portuguese tax regulations .
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
• Prepare statutory financial statements, tax returns (IVA, IRC, IRS), and regulatory reporting.
• Act as a key point of contact for external auditors, tax authorities, and stakeholders.
• Perform reconciliations, manage accruals, provisions, payroll accounting, and fixed assets.
• Maximize the use of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central , driving automation and efficiency.
• Provide timely financial insights to management, supporting strategic decisions.
• Stay up to date on fiscal and regulatory developments to ensure full compliance.

What We’re Looking For

• Certified Accountant (Contabilista Certificado , registered with OCC).
• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in accounting, preferably in an international or
  - driven company.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, Economics, or related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
• Strong knowledge of SNC and Portuguese tax framework .
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC/Navision) .
• Advanced Excel skills; Power BI knowledge is a plus.
• Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to work under deadlines.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English (Spanish is a plus).
