A Chef de Partie is responsible for supervising staff and ensuring high levels of food preparation to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience, while assisting with food cost controls.

What will I be doing?

• Supervise staff and ensure all food preparation meets standards
• Prepare and present
  - quality food
• Maintain clean and tidy work areas, prevent
  - contamination
• Prepare

  - place for relevant menus
• Respond to guest queries promptly and efficiently
• Ensure quality and proper storage of foodstuffs
• Contribute to controlling costs and improving profit margins
• Assist other departments and maintain good relationships
• Train staff in company procedures in collaboration with Head Chef/Sous Chef
• Report maintenance, hygiene, and hazard issues
• Comply with security, fire, health, and food safety regulations
• Be environmentally conscious

What are we looking for?

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Demi Chef de Partie experience
• Relevant trade qualification in cookery (proof may be required)
• Strong coaching and supervisory skills
• Ability to motivate teams and work under pressure
• Ability to work independently or in a team
• Fluency in Portuguese is highly valued

Additional advantageous skills include:

• Intermediate Food Hygiene certification
• Knowledge of current food trends
