Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Cuisine to join our team at a prestigious restaurant in Braga, Portugal. As the head chef, you will oversee all aspects of the kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation. This is a
- time position offering a salary of 1500€ per month.

Responsibilities

1. Create innovative,
   - quality dishes that reflect our restaurant's concept and standards.
2. Plan menus and develop new recipes based on seasonal ingredients.
3. Manage kitchen staff and ensure smooth operations during service.
4. Train and mentor junior chefs in proper techniques and procedures.
5. Maintain food quality and consistency in presentation, taste, and portion sizes.
6. Control inventory levels and minimize waste through efficient ordering systems.
7. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
8. Collaborate with management to improve overall profitability.

Requirements

1. Proven experience as a Chef de Cuisine or Executive Chef in fine dining.
2. Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred.
3. Extensive knowledge of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
4. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
5. Excellent time management skills in a
   - paced environment.
6. Creative mindset with a passion for experimenting with new dishes and flavors.
7. Fluency in Portuguese; proficiency in English is a plus.
