CTR/Hayco is a multinational manufacturing company looking for a Senior Technician Research and Development to join our New Product Development team in Portugal.

The Senior Technician Research and Development assists in developing formulations and preparing samples in accordance with work instructions to deliver to customer requests.

Job Responsibilities:

• In accordance with work instructions and good practice in each product development process step to deliver to customer requests. Sample Preparation: Prepare samples and carry out the necessary tests as well as tracking work status whenever samples are sent out for analysis in external parties;
  
  
• Technical Specifications: Make technical specifications for formulations, chemical materials and components used in new products;
  
  
• Chemical Analyzes: Carry out chemical analyses of raw materials and formulations to determine their
  - chemical characteristics;
  
  
• Sample Delivery& Registration: Send samples to customers and carry out all necessary registration;
  
  
• Research and testing: carrying on individual projects assigned by the leadership;
  
  
• Stock organization: control and purchase laboratory reagents and consumables.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Chemical Engineering field or vocational proved experience;
  
  
• 3-6 years of experience in similar role:
• Chemical analysis techniques;
  
  
• Handling laboratory equipment;
  
  
• Data collectionand interpretation;
  
  
• Knowledge of good lab practices;
