We are seeking a motivated and proficient Chief Java Software Engineer to lead the development of
- edge digital solutions for global financial markets.

This role involves collaborating with a distributed team to create
- time,
- latency trading systems for
- volume electronic trading, contributing significantly to FX trading for a European investment bank.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and guide a distributed team to deliver
  - performance digital services.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions, managing projects from design to deployment.
• Develop and optimize
  - latency Java core code focusing on performance and reliability.
• Work with traders, analysts, and technical teams to refine FX trading processes.
• Ensure compliance with best practices for
  - frequency trading software.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system bottlenecks using expertise in Java microstructure and design patterns.
• Provide technical leadership and serve as a trusted advisor in a dynamic environment.

Requirements

• 7+ years of Java development experience, with expertise in
  - latency systems.
• Strong background in Java Core, multithreading, parallel processing, and cache optimization.
• Knowledge of Go
  F design patterns, performance tuning, and debugging at the microstructure level.
• Understanding of FX trading workflows, including pricing, tiering, matching, and booking.
• Experience in
  - frequency trading environments and developing scalable, reliable systems.
• Ability to work efficiently within a global team and adapt to changing priorities.
• Capability to manage full development lifecycle from requirements to deployment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with algorithmic trading systems development.
• Background in financial services, especially trading platform development.
• Understanding of
  - time data analytics in investment banking.
