WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
KPMG is currently seeking a Manager in CIO Advisory for our Technology Consulting practice.
To join our team, you must have:
- A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in
- related roles, including consulting, IT management, digital transformation, or enterprise architecture;
strong analytical and
- solving skills, with the ability to develop hypotheses, frame problems, and generate relevant insights based on supporting data;
- Higher education within a field of study in Computer Sciences, Business and Information Management, Telecommunications Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or similar fields;
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with experience creating structured, logical, and
- relevant content. Strong proficiency in MS Power
Point and MS Excel is essential;
- Demonstrate previous experience using industry standards and reference models e. G. , COBIT, ITIL, CMMI, TOGAF, PMP (or similar, PM2/IPMA), and ISO20000;
- Ability to thrive in complex and ambiguous environments, engage with client executives, and demonstrate a strong commitment to personal and professional growth;
- Availability to travel, as needed.

- Comfortable navigating compliance and governance frameworks (welcome to Big 4 red tape).
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
What you will do:
- Be responsible for Digital Strategy and CIO advisory project teams and related engagements;
- Planning, managing and delivery of Digital Strategy and CIO advisory related projects to ensure business risks are recognized and appropriately managed before adversely affecting the project objectives;
- Activities include planning, scoping, budgeting, development of execution methodologies and resourcing the project;
- Provide technical knowledge, direction and training to the engagement team to produce quality deliverables on time and on budget;
- Building and promoting strong client relationships by understanding client needs and proposing digital initiatives to serve their needs;
- Providing and facilitating the involvement of subject matter experts for the key components of the strategy during the formulation stage;
- Presentation to project committee or board of directors (where relevant) on the engagement status, recommendations and action plans;
- Manage engagement risk.
Lead the engagement team in the design and implementation of CIO advisory services in areas such as IT Strategy, IT Maturity & Assessment, Modern Enterprise Architecture, Modern Delivery and/or Technology Business Management:
- Development of digital and IT strategies including initial vision, strategic requirements, and structured linkage to the business strategy;
- Translating ambiguous IT challenges into results by analyzing data and engaging with a diverse range of client stakeholders;
- Implementing large and complex IT transformation initiatives resulting from strategic business changes, mergers and acquisitions and other business disruption;
- Implementing infrastructure & cloud strategy programs, operating models, and migration engagements;
- Research next generation technology trends and architectures.
CIO Advisory Services include, but not limited to, the following:
- Digital strategy formulation and review;
- Aliment IT Strategy to Business Strategy;
- Enterprise Architecture;
- Business Continuity Management and IT Disaster Recovery;
- IT cost optimization;
- IT budget and spend/IT service costing;
- IT services chargeback reviews;
- IT cost benchmarking;
- IT supplier management;
- IT Asset management;
- Pre and
- project review;
- Change management;
- IT readiness to change assessment;
- Due diligence;
- IT Governance;
- IT capability maturity assessment (e. G. , ITIL, COBIT);
- IT Target Operating Model design;
- IT processes improvement;
- Applications and integration rationalization;
- Technology asset management.
