Overview
Junior Civil Engineer
As a Junior Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting senior engineers in the development, design, and construction of various civil engineering projects in Faro. This position requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
Responsibilities
- Assist senior engineers in planning, designing, and overseeing construction projects
- Conduct site visits to gather data and assess project feasibility
- Prepare technical drawings, plans, and reports using Auto
CAD and other software - Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with specifications and regulations
- Collaborate with contractors, architects, and other professionals to ensure project success
- Conduct quality control checks on materials and workmanship
- Perform calculations for structural design using engineering principles
- Prepare cost estimates for materials, equipment, or labor required for projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Proven experience with Auto
CAD or other design software - Knowledge of construction processes, regulations, and safety standards
- Strong analytical skills to solve complex problems
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
Salary: 1700$ per month
