Context:

IKOS is constantly seeking Civil Railway Engineers keen to take part in our missions throughout their country (Portugal) or abroad (all EU, depending on languages skills). If you are a specialist or a generalist, expert or junior Civil Engineer - we are looking for various types of skilled new team members.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain rail civil infrastructure, including tracks, bridges, and tunnels
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations
• Conduct site inspections, assess structural integrity, and recommend maintenance or repair measures
• Prepare engineering reports, drawings, and specifications
• Manage project timelines and budgets.

We'd love you to apply if:

• Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field (mandatory)
• Proven experience in rail civil engineering projects
• Familiarity with railway track design, geotechnical engineering, and structural analysis
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and project management abilities
• Portuguese and English speaking is mandatory
