Work You’ll Do
Working as part of the Client Money Team, the Client Money Accountant is responsible for managing Client Money, allocating payments, reconciling, and dealing with internal queries. The accountant liaises and communicates with Managed Services Teams to ensure accurate, timely payments are completed.
- Accurately record all transactions made on behalf of clients
- Ensure all payments are accurate and processed within strict deadlines
- Reconcile multicurrency bank accounts to internal records
- Ensure process documentation is kept up to date
- Identify, prioritize, and resolve issues; coordinate with appropriate internal departments to provide timely response and solutions
- Efficiently collaborate with the Managed Services Teams and other departments to ensure all deadlines are met
- Maintain goals and key measures to ensure progress and alignment with desired business outcomes for clients
- Ensure compliance with applicable taxing authorities and
- specified procedures by adhering to internal policies and procedures - Act with integrity and demonstrate ethical behavior in all matters with all stakeholders
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
What We Need From You
- 1+ years of office work experience preferred, and previous experience in accounting or finance is a strong plus
- Able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills
- Stakeholder management experience
- Proficiency in Excel (mandatory) and other MS Office products
- Excellent communication and customer service skills in dealing with internal and external customers
- High attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and work in a structured environment
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information and records with a high degree of discretion, diligence, and good judgment
