Join our team as a Cloud Engineer (Hybrid – Lisbon)!

What You'll Do:

• Manage and administer cloud environments, including provisioning, configuration, performance monitoring, policy governance, and security within Microsoft Azure and VMware VCF.
• Design, develop, and implement highly available and
  - region solutions in Microsoft Azure.
• Automate infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Ia
  C) tools such as Terraform or Cloud
  Formation, deploying through pipelines in Azure Dev
  Ops.
• Implement security measures and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Monitor resource utilization and performance, optimizing costs, scalability, and overall efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with development, operations, and security teams to implement cloud architecture and operational best practices.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis to address incidents and improve system reliability.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience in cloud engineering, including designing and managing cloud environments.
• Strong expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, with a main focus on Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Ia
  C) tools such as Terraform or Cloud
  Formation.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages like Python, Bash, or Power
  Shell.
• Solid understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Experience with VMware Cloud Foundation, VMware Aria (Operations and Automation), and Tanzu.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret monitoring data and correlate it with business metrics.
• Ability to work proactively and independently.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
