About the Role

As a Cloud Architect you will be in charge of defining the architecture from scratch of the cloud applications that will be used by millions of customers, following CTO guidelines and ensuring its delivery to Azure.

Responsibilities

• Translate project requirements into enterprise‑grade cloud architectures.
• Ensure high levels of resiliency, security, availability patterns.
• Participate from the development to production, improving the solution in each phase.
• Engage with senior leadership and project stakeholders to articulate opportunities, costs, and risks associated with decisions made around the platform architecture and implementation.
• Apply regulatory requirements (Banking, Data Privacy) to requirements and architecture.
• 6+ years in software development projects.
• 3 years as cloud architect with one of the major cloud providers (Azure, AWS, GCP, IBM …).
• Expert knowledge of one cloud provider (Azure preferred, AWS, Google Cloud).
• Knowledge / awareness of Banking, Data Privacy regulations.
• Good understanding of Cloud Native application design.
• Experience in development Solution Designs.
• Knowledge of micro‑service architecture patterns.
• Knowledge of event driven architecture patterns is a plus.
• Certifications in Azure is mandatory.
