We build and power leading video streaming platforms for some of Europe's biggest SVOD/AVOD players (6play, Videoland, RTL Play. . . ), dealing with 45+ millions of users.

As part of our international development, we are looking for an Cloud Architect for our new office in Lisbon.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

At Bedrock, we're looking for a Cloud Architect to grow a team that will be in front of all infrastructure issues (alerting, monitoring) and will try to solve them as well as the operational maintenance (planned maintenance, upgrades), in charge of the technical aspects of several European streaming platforms and meet exciting challenges like streaming UEFA Euro 2024 or Final Champions League 2025. You'll play an active role in maintaining these infrastructures, which are mainly hosted on Amazon Web Services.

As a Cloud Architect, you'll:

• Designing our customer platforms to meet high performance requirements
• Optimizing the performance of Kubernetes clusters
• Analyzing and resolving technical issues
• Working closely with all teams (developer teams, product teams, etc. ) to maintain and upgrade systems
• Training other team members and sharing your expertise with them
• Mentoring other teams in the department

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

You are interested and have knowledge in the Linux environment and Cloud technologies, you are curious and like working and helping other people to solve problems.

The following skills are the mainstay of this position:

• Expertise in Linux (Ubuntu)
• Expertise in Kubernetes
• Expertise in a cloud service provider (preferably AWS)
• Expertise in Terraform
• Proficiency in networking (firewall rules, basic routing debugging, VPN configuration, BGP)
• Proficiency in written and spoken English
• Ability to learn
