Cloud Data Architect Lisboa

Start Date: Immediate – no later than October 15th

Travel: Occasional trips to Paris (approx. once every 2 months)

We’re seeking a Senior Data Cloud Architect to join an exciting project, driving the design and delivery of
- generation cloud data solutions. This role offers the chance to work in Lisbon on a hybrid basis, blending technical leadership with
- on architecture and delivery.

What You’ll Do

• Design and implement scalable
  - based data solutions (Azure, Synapse, Snowflake).
• Lead the architecture of APIs, microservices, and data frameworks.
• Drive a “Data as a Service” strategy in line with industry best practices.
• Collaborate with engineering and security teams on standards and delivery.
• Facilitate workshops, requirement gathering, and technical
  - making.
• Contribute to the organisation’s cloud data roadmap and challenge vendors where needed.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years’ experience in cloud data architecture (Azure expertise strongly preferred).
• Strong knowledge of database management systems (Azure SQL, Synapse, Snowflake).
• Proven experience with security frameworks (OAuth2, JWT, RLS, network security).
• Proficiency in SQL and microservices; strong exposure to APIs and automation (Dev
  Ops, Terraform, Ansible).
• Familiarity with Java, C#, Python, and Power
  Shell.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Location: Lisbon, Alfragide (hybrid: 3
  - site, 2 remote)
• Start Date: By October 15th
• Travel: Occasional Paris trips (1 every 2 months, on average)
