We're looking for a Cloud Data Architect (AWS) to join our client's team in the financial markets sector, driving innovation and efficiency across data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of scalable data architectures on AWS (Lambda, Glue, Step Functions, Redshift) and support integration with Azure.
• Define and enforce data governance, security, and Infrastructure as Code (Ia
  C) standards using Terraform and Cloud
  Formation.
• Develop data pipelines, ETL processes, and data models to optimise performance and scalability.
• Apply strong Python and SQL skills to prototype and standardise data engineering solutions.
• Oversee orchestration and automation using Apache Airflow and AWS Step Functions.
• Act as a technical leader, ensuring best practices, documentation, and continuous improvement across data initiatives.

• Proven experience in AWS data services (with exposure to Azure).
• Strong knowledge of Ia
  C, ETL, and data governance principles.
• Expertise in Python, SQL, and data modelling for
  - scale datasets.
• Familiarity with Kafka, Iceberg tables, and cloud monitoring tools (Cloud
  Trail, X-Ray).
• Experience with Airflow or other orchestration tools.
• Excellent communication,
  - solving, and leadership skills.
• Fluency in English;
