About the job :
We are seeking a Cloud Dev
Ops Engineer to join our team in Porto and support a key
- cloud transformation project. Our client is heavily invested in AWS but now expanding into Azure and seeking to build expertise around it. Your role will be instrumental in designing, deploying, and maintaining
- native applications on Azure, while supporting legacy infrastructure on AWS. You will work closely with
- functional teams to deliver robust, scalable, and automated cloud solutions.
- Location: Porto, Portugal
Responsibilities:
- Design and deploy new applications in Azure, driving a
- cloud strategy forward.
- Manage containerized deployments using Azure Container Instances (ACI) and Azure Container Apps (ACA).
- Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code with advanced Terraform practices.
- Own and improve CI/CD pipelines with Git
Ops workflows, primarily via Azure Dev
Ops.
- Proactively identify infrastructure issues and implement preventative solutions.
- Collaborate with internal Dev
Ops and development teams to align on operational excellence and cloud best practices.
- Contribute to a culture of automation, security, and continuous improvement across environments.
What we are looking for:
- 5–6 years of experience in Dev
Ops or Cloud Engineering roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (mandatory).
- Deep understanding of:
- Azure Container Services: ACI & ACA
- Terraform: Advanced Ia
C experience
- CI/CD & Git
Ops workflows using Azure Dev
Ops
- Infrastructure deployment, cloud monitoring, scalability, and security
- Experience with AWS (essential for legacy system support)
- Knowledge of the Dev
Ops lifecycle and tool integration
