Responsibilities

• Drive Cloud Cost Reduction Initiatives: Lead
  - impact projects to reduce overall cloud expenditure.
• Manage and Optimize Data Services: Oversee configuration and ongoing optimization of mission‑critical Elasticsearch clusters, including down‑scaling and performance tuning.
• Optimize Multi‑Cloud Infrastructure: Review and optimize multi‑cloud solutions using Terraform across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Enhance Operational Efficiency: Implement automation for instance optimization, EBS volume cleanup, new Kubernetes Virtual Node Groups, and network routing to lower data transfer costs.
• Collaborate and Lead: Work cross‑functionally to plan and safely roll out changes to production, providing independent execution and technical leadership.
• Software Development and Automation: Build scripts and tools that automate cloud operations and support cost‑management efforts.

Requirements

• Senior‑Level Experience: Minimum of 2+ years as a Cloud Engineer, Dev
  Ops, or Site Reliability Engineer with a focus on cloud infrastructure and operations.
• Multi‑Cloud Proficiency: Hands‑on experience managing infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP, with a primary focus on AWS.
• Data Services Expertise: Experience configuring, managing, and optimizing large‑scale Elasticsearch clusters in production.
• Infrastructure as Code: Proficiency with Terraform for resource provisioning and management.
• Containerization & Orchestration: Mid‑level experience with Docker and Kubernetes cluster optimization.
• Driven by technology and challenges.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in similar projects or roles.
• Strong adaptability and a learning mindset for tasks beyond the initial scope.
• Knowledge of cloud cost optimization, ideally with related project experience.
• Experience with Spot. io.
