Cloud Engineer

Job Summary

Join Grupo Data Portugal as a Cloud Engineer on the Infra Platforms – Platforms Enablement team. The position focuses on cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, and operational stability.

Responsibilities

• Implement service requests and changes to meet user and customer needs.
• Drive proactive incident and problem management within the scope of the role, deploying new measures/solutions for operational stability.
• Apply software updates to address vulnerabilities and bugs, enhancing system and data security.
• Provide 2nd level support and participate in a 24x7 on‑call rotation to ensure timely resolution of technical issues and minimize system downtime.
• Collaborate with Git and CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and delivery.

Requirements

• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code.
• Knowledge or experience with AWS, Azure or GCP is a plus.
• Knowledge of Linux.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Available to provide 2nd level support, including participation in a 24x7 on‑call rotation.
• Apply service requests and changes to fulfill user and customer needs.
• Drive proactive incident and problem management in scope and deploy new measures/solutions to ensure operational stability improvements.
• Apply software updates to address vulnerabilities and bugs, enhancing the security of systems and data.
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Excellent team player, building bridges and easily connecting with others.
