We are now looking for a Cloud Engineer willing to accept new challenges in our Closer team.

Position: Cloud Engineer

Location: Lisbon (Hybrid)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Cloud Management & Administration:

• Provision, configure, and monitor performance, governance, and security in Microsoft Azure and VMware VCF environments.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and cost optimization of cloud resources.

1. Solution Development & Implementation:

• Design, develop, and deploy highly available,
  - region solutions in Microsoft Azure .
• Collaborate with development teams to implement
  - native architectures.

1. Infrastructure Automation (Ia
   C):

• Automate cloud infrastructure using Terraform, Cloud
  Formation, or ARM templates .
• Implement CI/CD pipelines in Azure Dev
  Ops for seamless deployments.

1. Security & Compliance:

• Enforce cloud security best practices and compliance with industry standards (e. g. , GDPR, ISO 27001).
• Implement identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and network security controls.

1. Optimization & Monitoring:

• Monitor resource utilization and performance, optimizing for cost and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot issues and perform root cause analysis (RCA) for incidents.

1. Collaboration & Best Practices:

• Work closely with Dev
  Ops, Security, and Development teams to align cloud strategies.
• Promote Agile methodologies and continuous improvement in cloud operations.

Requirements:

✅ Proven experience in cloud engineering , with expertise in Microsoft Azure (AWS/GCP is a plus).

✅ Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Ia
C) tools (Terraform, Cloud
Formation ).

✅ Proficiency in scripting (Power
Shell, Python, Bash) and automation.

✅ Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes (AKS/EKS/GKE) .

✅ Solid understanding of cloud security, networking, and compliance .

✅ Experience with monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana, etc. ) .

✅ Ability to analyze performance metrics and correlate with business needs.

✅ Agile mindset with strong
- solving skills.

✅ Proactive, independent, and collaborative work approach.

✅ Excellent communication skills (Portuguese & English).

Preferred Qualifications:

Relevant certifications (Azure Administrator/Architect, Terraform, Kubernetes ).

Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments .

Background in large-scale, complex cloud migration projects .
