Cloud Exchange and Voice Specialist
We are looking for a Cloud Engineer / Exchange and Voice Specialist for remote position from Portugal.
Eligibility:
- Candidate must currently reside in the EU.
- Portuguese Citizenship is mandatory.
- Candidate must be prepared to obtain EU Clearance after accepting the job offer.
The contractor will provide Level 2/3 technical support, ensuring secure, available, and compliant delivery of cloud services to NATO and its Strategic Commands. Services will follow weekly sprints, with scope defined during planning meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and manage Exchange Online settings, policies, mail flow rules, and mailbox provisioning.
- Optimize the performance and security of the email environment.
- Configure and manage Microsoft Teams voice services , including call routing and user settings.
- Monitor and optimize voice performance and troubleshoot Teams
- related issues. - Configure and integrate meeting room devices with Microsoft Teams, ensuring seamless functionality.
- Integrate Microsoft Teams with Call Manager systems for high availability and reliable connectivity.
- Manage Vo
IP and PSTN services within Teams, ensuring compliance with technical standards and resolving issues. - Implement and manage email and voice security measures , including Advanced Threat Protection (ATP) policies.
- Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and monitor for email and voice threats.
- Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements, managing retention policies and e
Discovery. - Develop and maintain Power
Shell scripts to automate administrative tasks for Exchange Online and Teams voice. - Provide Level 2/3 user support and troubleshooting for email and voice services, ensuring a seamless user experience.
- Monitor system health and generate reports using Exchange Admin Center , Teams Admin Center , and other tools.
- Continuously improve email and voice services by staying updated with new Microsoft 365 features and best practices.
- Maintain disaster recovery plans and perform regular recovery drills for email and voice services.
- Work collaboratively with other IT teams on
- functional projects and initiatives. - Provide remote
- call support for urgent escalated issues for one week every four months.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 services, specifically Teams Voice and Exchange Online .
- Expertise in Vo
IP, PSTN, and Call Manager integrations. - Strong experience with security, compliance, and disaster recovery planning for email and voice environments.
- Proficiency in scripting with Power
Shell for managing automation and operational workflows. - Skilled in monitoring and reporting tools like Exchange Admin Center and Teams Admin Center.
- Experience working in IT environments with hybrid models (on-prem/cloud).
- Availability for occasional
- site collaboration at the Brussels location.
