Miniclip is looking for an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our Cloud Engineering Team in our Lisbon (Portugal) Studio. We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer with a strong background in Infrastructure as Code with experience with AWS services, Kubernetes, Linux system administration, and modern infrastructure automation tools. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, optimizing cloud infrastructure and streamlining Dev
Ops processes. This is a
- time, permanent, hybrid position.

What will you be doing at Miniclip?

• Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and reliable cloud solutions.
• Ensure
  - tolerant, scalable and disaster recovery of cloud solutions.
• Monitor and optimize cloud resources for
  - efficiency and performance.
• Deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters for scalable containerized workloads.
• Automated Kubernetes cluster management with Helm charts and Git
  Ops tools like Argo
  CD.
• Migrating legacy applications to modern/containerized solutions.

Automation & Infrastructure as Code (Ia
C):

• Automate infrastructure using Terraform and AWS Cloud
  Formation.
• Developed and maintained Chef cookbooks for configuration management across Linux servers.
• Developing and maintaining scripts and tools for automating infrastructure provisioning and deployment.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with
  - functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members and other teams.
• Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

What are we looking for?

• 2+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role.
• 3+ years of expertise in using AWS, such as EC2, S3, IAM, Lambda, RDS, VPC, Cloud
  Formation, and Cloud
  Front.
• 2+ years of experience with Linux.
• 2+ years of experience in AWS containerized services, such as ECS, EKS, Fargate and containerized tools such as Docker, Helm, Argo
  CD.
• 2+ years in network knowledge and troubleshooting.
• Highly proficient in
  -
  - code tools such as Terraform, Cloud
  Formation.
• Strong background in software development, with proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Go, Ruby.
