Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Job Summary

Miniclip is looking for an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our Cloud Engineering Team in Lisbon, Portugal. We seek a highly skilled Cloud Engineer with a strong background in Infrastructure as Code, AWS services, Kubernetes, Linux system administration, and modern automation tools. The role is full‑time, permanent, and hybrid.

What will you be doing at Miniclip?

• Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and reliable cloud solutions.
• Ensure fault‑tolerant, scalable, and disaster‑recovery capabilities.
• Monitor and optimize cloud resources for cost‑efficiency and performance.

• Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters for scalable containerized workloads.
• Automate cluster management with Helm and Git
  Ops tools such as Argo
  CD.
• Migrate legacy applications to modern/containerized solutions.

• Automate infrastructure using Terraform and AWS Cloud
  Formation.
• Develop and maintain Chef cookbooks for configuration management across Linux servers.
• Build scripts and tools for automating infrastructure provisioning and deployment.

• Work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members and other teams.
• Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role.
• 3+ years of expertise in AWS services such as EC2, S3, IAM, Lambda, RDS, VPC, Cloud
  Formation, and Cloud
  Front.
• 2+ years of experience with Linux.
• 2+ years of experience with AWS containerized services, such as ECS, EKS, Fargate, and tools like Docker, Helm, Argo
  CD.
• 2+ years of network knowledge and troubleshooting.
• Highly proficient in infrastructure‑as‑code tools such as Terraform and Cloud
  Formation.
• Strong background in software development, proficient in at least one programming language such as Python, Go, or Ruby.
