We are looking for a Cloud Security and Compliance Engineer to join our Client's team on a remote working model from Portugal.

Eligibility:

• Candidate must have resided in Portugal for at least the past 5 years.
• Portuguese citizenship is mandatory.
• A completed Bachelor's or Master's degree is required.
• Candidate must be prepared to obtain EU security clearance upon accepting the job offer (with Hexa coordination).

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Microsoft 365 security policies aligned with compliance and organizational requirements.
• Ensure DLP (Data Loss Prevention) policies are implemented and updated.
• Configure and manage Microsoft Defender solutions and Microsoft Sentinel.
• Perform risk assessments, audits, and vulnerability scans.
• Manage data encryption and configure Microsoft Purview for data protection.
• Implement and maintain e
  Discovery and legal hold processes.
• Monitor Microsoft 365 environment via Security Center and SIEM tools.
• Automate compliance and security tasks using Power
  Shell, KQL, and Power Automate.
• Deliver security training and promote awareness across the organization.
• Stay current on M365 security features and propose continuous improvements.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience with Microsoft Defender suite and Microsoft Sentinel.
• Strong scripting skills with Power
  Shell and KQL;
  
  experience automating workflows.
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Purview and data governance practices.
• At least 4 years of experience in security compliance, audit processes, and regulatory standards.
• Experience implementing and managing DLP policies and risk controls.
• At least 3 years of experience in:
  
  
• Troubleshooting and optimizing security workflows.
• Documenting procedures and delivering
  - user training.
• Monitoring using Microsoft 365 Security Center and SIEM tools.
• Managing accounts, groups, and access controls.
• Minimum 2 years of experience working in
  - functional or international teams.
• Full professional proficiency in English (French is an advantage).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive issues under pressure and maintain strong client relationships.
