We are currently hiring a Cloud System Architect to join our I&E HUB in Lisbon.

Brief Role Description

SAFe Solution Architects are responsible for defining and communicating a shared technical and architectural vision for a Solution Train to help ensure the solution under development will be fit for its intended purpose.

Possible Tasks within this Role

• Working in the context of autonomous vehicles you will define and communicate a shared technical and architectural vision of our system to ensure an ideal fit to its intended purpose.
• You will validate technology assumptions, evaluate implementation alternatives and elaborate on system architectures.
• You are collaborating with various roles and teams to align on architecture topics and evolve the overall product landscape.
• You will plan and design service ecosystems for our future trucks, using agile methodologies and being responsible for integral parts of our technical roadmap.
• You will be responsible for the system architecture of cloud services that are directly interacting with
  - driving systems
• You advise your colleagues and other teams on all questions around cloud system architecture in the autonomous vehicle domain and work together on continuously improving the architecture, services and processes.
• You take initiative to solve problems and overcome roadblocks, searching for innovative and pragmatic solutions. You are a
  - oriented individual
  
  

Qualification Requirements

• Relevant experience in the conception and design of complex cloud solutions in an international context.
• Experience in different architectural patterns and paradigms.
• Emphasis on simplicity and maintainability.
• Experience with creating architecture drawings on different levels and good presentation skills.
• Very good English skills, both written and spoken.
• Team-oriented mindset and strong collaboration skills.
• Having an Agile mindset and good communication skills.
• Solid experience with
  - driven and distributed system architectures.
• Experience with cloud provider (preferably AWS).
• Experience with Hexagonal and highly scalable architectures is a plus.
• Experience with SAFE framework is a plus.
