Cloud Tech Lead (JavaScript) Coimbra

We are currently looking for Cloud Tech Lead (Java
Script).

Responsibilities

• Lead by example with 6+ years of professional experience in Java
  Script development, demonstrating deep technical expertise and mentoring capabilities.
• Apply 3+ years of proven experience as a Tech Lead, guiding engineering teams through architectural decisions and delivery execution
• Architect and maintain scalable backend services using serverless technologies, ensuring performance and reliability
• Experience with Cloud (Google Cloud Platform or AWS)
• Write clean, efficient, and
  - documented code in Node. js, leveraging both Java
  Script and Type
  Script to support maintainability and team collaboration
• Design and evolve RESTful APIs and microservices, aligning with best practices for modularity and scalability
• Collaborate closely with
  - functional teams (Product, Design, QA) to define, design, and deliver impactful features that meet business goals
• Code quality through rigorous testing, peer reviews, and continuous improvement of development standards
• Monitor and optimize application performance, proactively identifying bottlenecks and driving improvements in scalability and reliability
• Foster a culture of technical excellence, continuous learning, and innovation within the team

Nice to Have

• Experience with frontend frameworks like React or Next. js to support
  - stack initiatives
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e. g. , Git
  Hub Actions, Git
  Lab CI) for streamlined deployment and automation
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform to support scalable and maintainable cloud infrastructure
