Job Description

We are looking for a Cobol developer to join the BPCE SI team in Porto.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Development in COBOL MVS
• Design, specify and estimate new features to cater business and functional requirements
• Conduct the process through all phases of the development lifecycle: Analysis, Development, Unit and integration testing, User Acceptance Testing, Production delivery, Documentation update).
• Batch
  - up.
• Application Support and resolution of incidents (technical and functional).
• Create/update documentation.
• Enhancements and project participation.

• MVS
• CICS
• DB2
• JCL
• TSO
• VSAM
• Dimensions
• Spitab
• Good knowledge of Agile methodologies (scrum, Kanban).
  
  

In Addition, We Would Be Looking For Someone That

• Is flexible and can adapt to the different technical and/or functional tasks that may be required
• Has strong resilience and a creative mindset
• Has good communication and relationship skills
• Is proactive and capable to work in autonomy
• Is able make commitments and meet them
• Has at least 4 years of experience in similar roles
• Is Fluent in English and French (at least B2)
• A previous experience in an international context would also be a plus.
