We are looking for a COBOL Developer to join our Inetum Team and be part of a work culture focused on innovation!

Location: Lisbon

Main Tasks:

• Develop and maintain applications using COBOL, DB2/SQL, JCL, and CICS COBOL Online (Screens and Maps), including sequential file handling.
• Perform system analysis and design to ensure robust and efficient solutions.
• Work with Visual COBOL and Eclipse development tools.
• Execute program unit testing and system integration testing.
• Collaborate with
  - functional teams to ensure
  - quality deliverables.
• Support in the creation of technical documentation.

Profile:

• At least 7 years of programming experience in COBOL, DB2/SQL, JCL, CICS COBOL Online (Screens and Maps) and sequential file handling.
• More than 5 years of experience in system analysis and design.
• Experience in Visual COBOL and Eclipse development tools.
• Knowledge of Unix shell scripting is a plus.
• More than 5 years of experience in conducting program unit testing and system integration testing.
• Excellent communication skills and team spirit.
• Fluency in English is mandatory.
• Hybrid work – office in Lisbon (2/3 days per week).
