We are looking for an Amazing: Cobol Developer

Seniority: Senior (5+ years)

Type of position: Hybrid model in Lisbon. Candidates must already reside in Portugal!

The amazing you will have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Basic knowledge or experience with COBOL (academic, personal projects, or internship).
• Strong
  - solving skills and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Interest in legacy systems modernization and integrating COBOL with modern tech stacks.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken) to collaborate effectively with global teams.
• Experience with modern programming languages like Java, Python, or C#.
• Familiarity with cloud computing (AWS, Azure) or containerization technologies like Docker.
• Knowledge of Dev
  Ops practices and CI/CD pipelines for legacy system integration.

Plus:

• Familiarity with mainframe environments such as z/OS, DB2, or CICS is a plus.
