We are looking for a COBOL Developer for a hybrid project in Porto:

Responsibilities :

1. Design, develop, and maintain COBOL applications in compliance with business requirements.
2. Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and define requirements.
3. Perform code reviews, debugging, and testing to ensure
   - quality software delivery.
4. Utilize Pacbase tools to enhance application performance and functionality.
5. Document technical specifications and processes for ongoing maintenance and future development.
6. Provide support and troubleshooting for existing applications and systems.
7. Stay
   -
   - date with emerging technologies and industry trends related to COBOL and mainframe development.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in COBOL development.
• Proficiency in Pacbase and experience with related tools and frameworks.
• Strong analytical and
  - solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• French is a plus.
