Job Description: Accounting Specialist for Bank & Cash In
Join our dynamic Finance Center of Excellence (Co
E) in Lisbon, supporting over 30 countries in their accounting operations. As an Accounting Specialist, you'll work closely with process referents to ensure accurate monthly closings, support

- day tasks, and interact directly with the countries under your scope.
Responsibilities:
- Execute monthly closing tasks for the Bank & Cash In processes with reliability and attention to detail.
- Reconcile various payment methods (physical and digital) and ensure alignment between bank and accounting records.
- Ensure store safe integrity and match turnover between statistical and accounting systems.
- Perform manual bookings in the general ledger and handle manual payments/collections in AP/AR.
- Improve the bank
- matching rate and control data integrity between accounting and banking tools. - Manage specific tasks related to gift cards, internal marketplaces, and new business models (rental, second life, buyback).
- Communicate directly with the countries under your scope and support their operational needs.
- Implement action plans to improve accounting quality and country satisfaction.
- Participate in ad hoc projects and missions within the Co
E.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience in accounting or treasury (bank reconciliation is a strong advantage).
- Comfortable communicating in English (minimum B1 – written and spoken).
- Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- A collaborative mindset and clear communication style.
- High sense of responsibility, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Curious and motivated to improve tools, systems, and ways of working.
- Analytical thinking and a
- solving approach. - Comfortable working in an international and multicultural environment.
- Eager to learn, grow, and contribute to a team that builds processes from scratch.
- A passion for sports is a plus.
