- Commercial: Engage directly with clients across hedging, risk management, execution, clearing, OTC products, and commodity finance.
Responsibilities
Primary duties include:
- Manage office operations, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and oversee office equipment and repairs.
- Order, monitor, and manage office supplies to ensure stock availability.
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide support for visitors.
- Coordinate with vendors for maintenance, manage contracts, and negotiate prices.
- Address employee queries related to office management issues.
- Manage the office budget, track expenses, and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Ensure safety protocols, HR policies, and operational standards are followed.
Quality Control
Maintain the Lisbon laboratory by roasting and cupping coffee samples, managing sample labeling and dispatch, recording results, and reporting to relevant departments. Coordinate quality procedures between Lisbon and Addis Ababa labs, including calibration, training, and data management.
Qualifications
- Fluent in English and Portuguese; additional languages are a plus.
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving and
- making abilities. - Barista experience (e. g. , Starbucks) is preferred.
- Experience in quality control is advantageous.
- Customer service skills and familiarity with data management tools.
- Ability to work in a
- growing environment, contributing to business expansion.
Working Environment
- In-office 100%,
- time,
- time options available. - Half-day shifts, preferably mornings.
- Travel to Addis Ababa and Varginha as needed.
