A day in your life with us

We all know how essential it is to keep the kitchen and pantry tidy and organized at home. Therefore, in the catering department, all employees must ensure a clean, organized, and inviting workspace.

We are organized into five areas, each with a different focus:

• Kitchen: where we prepare and cook various dishes for our customers and
- workers;

• Customer restaurant: the team that provides service, actively approaches customers, welcomes them with friendliness, and helps with the selection process if needed;

• Co-workers restaurant: a dedicated space for our team offering a varied, increasingly healthy and sustainable menu at very affordable prices;

• Bistro: located after the checkout line, where you can buy hot dogs and other treats. This team prepares delicacies and provides customer service;

• Swedish Grocery Store: where customers can purchase their favorite Swedish products. The team ensures products are in perfect condition and correctly priced, managing sales space and customer service.

The safety of our products is always a priority at IKEA. Therefore, our employees contribute to safety, efficiency, and good operational practices in accordance with current routines and food safety standards (HACCP).
