Job Description

The Collections Specialist in our team will be responsible for:

• Managing customer/account queries to ensure sales ledger balances are accurate on customer accounts
• Strategizing collection activities to maximize cash receipts
• Successfully managing due and overdue balances on customer accounts, maximizing On Time Payment for all customers
• Notifying of uncollectable debt risks & mitigating where possible
• Focusing on Customer Service, ensuring good communication levels to identify and resolve problems on customer accounts
• Investigating historical data for each debt
• Finding and contacting clients to inquire about overdue payments
• Taking actions to encourage timely debt payments
• Working closely with the sales team to resolve disputes
• Identifying queries and working on resolution with billing
• Updating accounts with records and collection efforts

Qualifications

• Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or similar preferred but not essential
• Desirable experience as a collections specialist or in the Order to Cash process (2/3 years)
• Good
  - solving and reasoning skills
• Excellent communication skills - Fluent Swedish and English
• Comfortable working under pressure and with targets
• Customer-oriented
• Positive thinking, willingness to learn, and a team player attitude required
