On behalf of our client, a global executive search firm, we are seeking a Commercial Development – Sourcing Specialist based in Lisbon.

Our clinet is a specialist retained executive search and talent intelligence firm serving the global energy and commodities sector.

They partner with clients across the commodities value chain covering agriculture & nutrition, liquid fuels & chemicals, metals & minerals, shipping & logistics, gas & LNG, power & environmental products, renewables, financial services, and more.

Their core services include:

• Retained executive search (senior hires across trading, operations, corporate functions, sustainability, risk, tech, etc. ).
• Talent Intelligence / Advisory: compensation benchmarking, competitive market analysis, diversity studies, organizational structure, succession planning, behavioural assessment, and custom insights.
• A dedicated arm functions as an advisor network focused on the energy & resources sector, helping clients navigate the energy transition.

Their offices include London (HQ), Lisbon Houston, New York, Singapore, Abu Dhabi, São Paulo, and Geneva.

About the Role

As a Sourcing Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in elevating the firm's commercial execution across global search mandates. You'll be the driving force behind
- quality market mapping, candidate research, and proactive engagement, directly supporting the delivery of executive search projects.

What You'll Do

• Conduct structured sourcing and research across product, functional, and regional markets using Linked
  In Recruiter, Microsoft Dynamics, and other professional tools.
• Participate in recruiter briefings to define target companies, ideal candidate profiles, and outreach strategies.
• Execute the full sourcing lifecycle: research, mapping, shortlist presentation, and outreach.
• Coordinate candidate communication, interviews, and meetings with internal stakeholders.
• Build and maintain strategic candidate pools for key markets, portfolios, and future hiring needs.
• Deliver bespoke candidate pools aligned to commercial priorities and consultant specializations.
• Record and analyse leadership movements and market intelligence within Microsoft Dynamics.
• Uphold data integrity and contribute to continuous CRM improvement for smarter commercial decisions.

Who You Are

• You bring 6-18 mon of experience in a research, sourcing, or commercial intelligence role within executive search, recruitment, expert networks, or a related commercial environment.
• You are highly proficient with Linked
  In Recruiter and CRM systems (ideally Microsoft Dynamics).
• You are organised, structured, and capable of managing multiple mandates simultaneously.
• You communicate with clarity and professionalism, both internally and externally.
• You possess a commercially curious mindset and a methodical approach to
  - solving.
