As Commercial Finance Manager for Portugal, you’ll be a core member of the Portugal Leadership Team and the right ‑ hand to the Head of Commercial. You will drive financial performance, influence strategic decisions, and embed world ‑ class finance practices across the market. You ’ ll partner with Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain and Shared Services to ensure Bacardi Portugal meets its short ‑ term targets and long ‑ term growth objectives.

As a leader within the South Cluster Finance team you will
consistently drive high performance with your team, and be
comfortable influencing & communicating across the matrix at all levels.
RESPONSABILITIES
Strategic Business Partnering
- Shape Portugal’s commercial agenda: lead Commercial Finance and support RGM initiatives (pricing, mix, promotions) to maximize revenue and margin.
- Provide decision support to Marketing and Sales on brand investments, innovation business cases and promotional spend ROI.
- Collaborate with the Head of Commercial and Leadership Team to align financial plans with Portugal’s strategic priorities.
Planning, Forecasting & Analysis
- Own the Market P&L: produce monthly/quarterly forecasts and variance analyses against budget, dynamic plan and prior periods.
- Lead cadence of regular business reviews, focused on identifying key drivers of variances to plan.
- Build simulations and sensitivity analysis in order to highlight risks and opportunities vs current trajectories/forecasts and drive corrective action across the business (with the support of the Head of Commercial)
- Lead the financial planning & forecasting processes for Portugal (Budget, Dynamic Plan, IAP)
- Collaborate & communicate with the South Cluster finance team to evaluate and act on results, trends, developments.
Stakeholder Engagement & Reporting
- Prepare management reports, flash dashboards and Cluster lead team level presentations with clear commentary.
- Escalate and resolve customer disputes related to billing or credit control as needed.
- Represent Bacardi in meetings with banks, regulators and statutory authorities.
Governance & Controls
- Ensure full compliance with local statutory accounting, internal policies and audit requirements (both internal and external).
- Interface with Bacardi Enterprise Services (BES), Tax and Internal Audit to resolve issues and drive process improvements.
- Maintain robust control frameworks and SLAs with shared ‑ service partners.

- Strategic Finance Partnership : Proven ability to act as a trusted business partner, translating financial insights into actionable commercial recommendations that drive revenue and margin growth.
- Advanced Analytical & Modelling Skills : Expert in building robust “what ‑ if ” scenarios, conducting variance analyses, and developing KPIs and dashboards to guide decision ‑ making.
- Commercial Acumen : Deep understanding of Revenue Growth Management (pricing, promotions, pack ‑ mix) and ability to collaborate effectively with Marketing, Sales and Supply Chain.
- Team Leadership & Development : Passionate people leader with a track record of managing, developing and coaching
- performing teams. Acts as a role model, inspires others through vision and integrity, and fosters a culture of ownership, collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Process & Control Focus : Strong track record of designing and enhancing end ‑ to ‑ end finance processes, internal controls and governance frameworks to ensure accuracy, compliance and efficiency.
- Stakeholder Management & Communication : Outstanding presentation and interpersonal skills; adept at producing management reports and Board ‑ level presentations with clear, concise commentary.
- Systems Proficiency : Advanced Excel and Power BI (or equivalent BI tools), plus hands ‑ on experience with ERP systems (e. g. , SAP). Knowledge of Anaplan and TM1 is a plus.
- Language Proficiency : Fluent English is essential to operate in Bacardi’s international environment. Proficiency in Portuguese is a strong advantage for engaging with local teams and external stakeholders. Spanish is appreciated and would support collaboration across Iberia and Bacardi Enterprise Services.
