About the Role

In our HVDC Protection Team, we test and verify hardware and software for our innovative HVDC projects in our Test Center. We ensure accurate functionality and high quality of HVDC plants worldwide during commissioning. Our diverse teams work closely with project management, engineering, and end customers to provide tailored solutions based on the latest HVDC technology.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to integration and functional tests of HVDC control technology (C&P hardware and software) in our test center in Germany.
• Execute and document Functional Performance Tests (FPT) and Dynamic Performance Tests (DPT), including customer acceptance tests.
• Ensure technically flawless commissioning of HVDC systems
  - site, including testing of primary and secondary components.
• Support commissioning management in quality, risk, and claim management.
• Participate in improvement programs such as Lean, reviews, and lessons learned.

Qualifications

• Degree in electrical engineering, energy technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge in project planning and testing with MATLAB/SIMULINK, Siemens SIMATIC TDC/S7, CFC, grid protection systems.
• Experience in electrical engineering and commissioning of electrical power stations or HVDC systems.
• Knowledge of current and voltage measuring devices and primary equipment.
• Proficient in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Willingness to travel worldwide for
  - term assignments, including offshore platforms.
• Team player, proactive, good conflict management,
  - making skills.
