Commodity Material Planner - Europe Queluz

Job Purpose: Commodity Material Planner is responsible for ensuring effective material planning and supply continuity across Europe. This role manages both OEM and
- party supply chains, securing timely delivery and optimal stock levels to meet production and customer needs.

Your daily mission

• Define product volumes based on inventory levels and historical consumption
• Place and follow up on purchase orders for all European locations on a daily basis
• Enforce supplier delivery deadlines and manage any discrepancies
• Analyze delivery schedules and safety stock, making necessary adjustments to avoid shortages
• Communicate closely with European departments regarding supplier capabilities and performance
• Work with buyers to escalate and resolve
  - related issues
• Be the primary contact for internal customers regarding assigned commodities
• Monitor and define key performance indicators (KPIs) for suppliers to drive continuous improvement
• Contribute actively to process optimization initiatives within the supply chain

Your Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or Business Administration, or equivalent professional experience in material planning or procurement
• At least 5 years of experience in material planning, purchasing, and supplier management
• Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems preferred
• Strong supplier relationship management and negotiation skills
• Fluent in English (other European languages are an advantage)
• Excellent communication and

• Highly organized, autonomous, and able to manage multiple priorities under deadlines
• Customer-focused mindset with attention to cost optimization and process improvement
• Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe
