Veeam Quality Assurance team invites you to work on Veeam products with Veeam QA professionals in the Lisbon R&D office.

What You Will Do

• Support/maintenance/troubleshooting of virtualization infrastructure – VMware mainly, with some Hyper-V and KVM-based solutions (Proxmox, XCP-ng)
• Remote support/maintenance/troubleshooting of
  - grade hardware: server hardware (IPMI/i
  DRAC/i
  LO); data storage systems (DAS, i
  SCSI, FC, NVMe over Fabrics)
• Support/maintenance/troubleshooting of foundational infrastructure services: DHCP, DNS, MS AD
• Communicate with other participants of the product development and testing process regarding technical issues (HW/SW related)
• Task and procedure optimization and automation
• Proactive research of new approaches and solutions
• Write and maintain internal KB articles
• Monitor services management and maintenance (Zabbix, VMware Aria for logs/Operations)
• Support/maintenance/troubleshooting of local backup solutions (VBR)
• Keep asset information up to date

What We Expect From You

• Technical education or passion for technology
• 2+ years in a similar position
• English B1 (communication within the team, with vendors via email/MS Teams)
• Knowledge of Microsoft software stack and key technologies (Windows Server, Hyper-V, AD, DNS, DHCP)
• Administration experience of VMware v
  Sphere products or KVM-based virtualization solutions
• Experience in implementing new services/software solutions
• Scripting experience (Power
  Shell/Python)

Will Be An Advantage

• Deep knowledge of VMware v
  Sphere product line (ESXi, v
  Center)
• KVM-based virtualization administering experience
• Linux administering experience, bash scripting, advanced knowledge of Linux OS
• Monitoring/observability tools setup and maintenance (Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana)
• Experience with Ansible/Terraform
