About the Role
We are seeking an experienced
CSA Planner
to join our team as part of a
General Contractor
delivering a large‑scale
hyperscale data centre project in Portugal. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing detailed construction schedules for all
Civil, Structural and Architectural (CSA)
elements, ensuring alignment with overall project delivery targets and milestones.
You will play a central role in integrating the CSA programme with MEP, commissioning, and client‑side schedules, ensuring timely and efficient execution across all phases of construction within a mission‑critical environment.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, update, and maintain detailed
CSA construction schedules
using
Primavera P6
(or equivalent).
Integrate the CSA programme with
MEP, commissioning, and overall project schedules.
Monitor progress on‑site, analyse variances, and implement corrective actions to maintain project timelines.
Support preparation of
weekly and monthly progress reports, including schedule updates, look‑aheads, and performance analysis.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, procurement teams, and subcontractors to ensure accurate planning data and dependencies.
Evaluate construction methodologies and sequencing to optimise efficiency and mitigate schedule risk.
Participate in
risk and change management
reviews, assessing the impact of variations or delays.
Support the project controls and reporting functions in line with company and client procedures.
Contribute to the development of planning best practices within the organisation and the project team.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree
in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience
in project planning and scheduling, with at least
3 years in data centres or mission‑critical environments.
Proven experience working for a
General Contractor
on
large‑scale construction projects
(hyperscale data centre experience preferred).
Strong proficiency in
Primavera P6
(mandatory);
MS Project experience is a plus.
Solid understanding of
CSA construction techniques, sequencing, and interfaces
with MEP systems.
Experience managing
integrated programmes
across design, procurement, and construction phases.
Excellent communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
Fluent in
English
(written and spoken)
Right to work in the
EU
or eligibility for
work authorization in Portugal.
