Purpose of the Job

As a Real Estate Project Manager, you will be part of the construction team in Portugal, reporting to the Construction Manager. Your main responsibilities include executing the construction of new stores and renovating existing ones, conducting technical inspections, and ensuring smooth project execution from planning to completion.

Areas of Responsibility

• Support construction activities
• Conduct technical inspections and prepare reports
• Manage project costs and financial closing
• Develop overall project plans from initiation to opening
• Oversee construction execution and quality control
• Coordinate with acquisition and design teams for project preparations
• Document and register

Communication

• Maintain contacts with contractors, suppliers, municipalities, and internal teams
• Ensure effective information sharing across all parties
• Provide process improvement suggestions based on daily operations

Requirements

• University Degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering with construction expertise
• Minimum 5 years of experience in real estate projects within the retail sector
• Proficiency in Excel, MS Project, and familiarity with leases, contracts, and construction practices
• Fluent in Portuguese and English, both verbal and written
• Highly organized, pragmatic, and efficient in managing activities and projects
