Overview

Savills Portugal, holding a prominent position in the national market, is undergoing strong growth and has mandates for major projects in Portugal. The company seeks to reinforce its BPC & Architecture Department in the Porto office with a Construction/Project Manager.

Responsibilities

• Coordination and management of construction teams
• Execution and
  -
  - date planning schedules
• Site management
• Control of contractual deadlines execution
• Costs control
• Works measurement reports – validation and preparation
• Construction quality control
• Preparation of periodic progress reports
• Monitoring of Health and Safety actions on site
• Execution of provisional handover minutes and all technical documents

Requirements, Skills and Experience

• Degree in Civil Engineering (preferred) or Architecture
• 2-3 years' professional experience in project management/construction work; coordination/supervision
• Knowledge of Windows environment from a user perspective, with a focus on Power
  Point, Excel and Microsoft Project
• Knowledge of English (other languages will be valued)
• Planning and organisational skills
• Orientation towards deadlines
• Rigour and excellence in carrying out tasks
• High sense of responsibility
• Team spirit and ease of communication
• Proactivity, assertiveness, dynamism and resilience
• Driving licence
