The opportunity
EY is seeking a Data Governance - Consultant to help organizations assess their current data governance practices and shape their future data management landscapes. Responsibilities include:
- Defining data management policies and processes
- Investigating data quality
- Assessing data management maturity and data quality
- Designing and implementing Data Governance models
Key Responsibilities
- Translate organizational strategic objectives into data strategy and management goals
- Stay informed on best practices and trends in data architecture
- Identify and characterize data exploitation initiatives
- Interpret business needs and develop data functionalities
- Minimum of 2 years experience in defining and implementing data governance models
- Experience in policies, processes, and procedures related to data management and governance
- Knowledge of data governance tools like Informatica, Microsoft Purview, Collibra, etc.
- Effective communication with teams and clients
- Continuous professional development
- Strong business acumen, autonomy,
- solving, and communication skills

- Strong analytical and

To qualify for the role, you must have
- Bachelor's degree in relevant fields such as computer science, information systems, engineering, physics, business administration, or economics
- Over 3 years of professional consulting experience
- Over 3 years of experience in Data and technology projects related to Data Governance/Management/Strategy
- Drive to excel professionally
- Knowledge of Data Management/Governance topics and technological trends
- Innovative, resourceful, analytical, and able to work under pressure
- Ability to foster an efficient, innovative, and
- oriented environment - Proficiency in English
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Experience analyzing and documenting business processes
- Experience with Jira/Confluence
- Experience in Data & Analytics projects, including data modeling and mapping
- Strong business writing skills
- Knowledge of frameworks like DAMA, CMMI DMM, and PMBOK
- Experience working in Agile environments
