Role details:

• Title / Designation: Consultant
• Location: Nariman Point, Mumbai, Maharashtra
• Work mode: 5 days WFO

Role & responsibilities:

• Evaluate and review Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) to ensure quality, accuracy, and project alignment.
• Provide technical expertise on water grid design in collaboration with consulting partners.
• Contribute to the preparation of Preliminary Project Reports (PPR) and Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) reports.
• Support the preparation of
  - related documentation for ADB, World Bank, or other multilateral funding agencies.
• Develop RFPs and oversee bid management for selecting technical, project management, and execution consultants.

Candidate requirements:

• BE / B. Tech in Civil Engineering / Structural Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / IT / Computer Science / Related fields is preferred
• Minimum 13 years of experience with at least 5 years of relevant experience in water sector including designing of water distribution projects.
• Experience working with State/Central Government bodies/PSUs in
  - related assignments.
• Proficient in using Water Gem software for hydraulic modelling and water grid design.
• Working knowledge of GIS tools applied to water sector projects.
• Hands-on experience with ADB/World Bank/other multilateral funding agency projects, covering PPR, EIA, and loan documentation.
• Ability to apply strong analytical thinking and strategic planning in project delivery.
• Skilled in communication, stakeholder coordination, and
  - solving for complex projects.
• Proven capability in designing and reviewing water distribution and hydraulic systems.
• Adept at drafting proposals and preparing responses to RFPs.
