FICO Consultant CO/PS (GL/TAX)

Location: Portugal (3 days/week in Porto, to be confirmed)

Start Date: October 2025

Duration: Until April 2027

Language: Portuguese and/or English

We are seeking a skilled FICO Consultant with expertise in CO/PS (Costing & Project Systems) and FI-GL (General Ledger) for an exciting S/4HANA implementation project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Portuguese fiscal requirements and Document and Reporting Compliance (R2R). Experience in Retail business or greenfield implementations will be a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure SAP S/4HANA system based on agreed business requirements.
• Conduct Unit Testing, Integration Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Support ABAP/development teams for custom objects, reports, and interfaces.
• Translate business requirements into functional SAP S/4HANA solutions.
• Prepare and execute test scenarios, scripts, and test data.
• Support master data cleansing and migration activities.
• Validate migrated data within S/4HANA system.
• Create training materials and conduct workshops for key users.
• Document configuration, processes, and solution designs.
• Ensure adoption of SAP Fiori and digital processes by business teams.
• Participate in cutover planning, execution, and
  - live stabilization.
• Provide hypercare support before transitioning to SAP support teams.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge in CO and PS master data, R2R, FI-GL, and Portuguese fiscal requirements.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementation.
• Ability to configure, test, and document SAP S/4HANA solutions.
• Strong communication skills in Portuguese and/or English.
• Availability to work in Porto for 3 days per week (to be confirmed).

Compensation:

• Daily rate: Competitive and based on experience.
