THE ROLE

We are looking for a #Tech
Talent to perform duties as a Senior Computing Consultant (VMware v
Sphere Administrator) for a national project in the telecommunications sector.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Administer and maintain virtualization environments using VMware v
  Sphere and KVM, ensuring high availability and performance;
• Manage operating systems based on RHEL, Ubuntu, and Windows Server, ensuring their stability and security;
• Collaborate in the definition and delivery of
  - ready architectures and designs, with a focus on scalability and resilience;
• Automate tasks and processes using Bash and Python, integrating Dev
  Ops practices such as Git-based workflows, Infrastructure as Code (Ia
  C), and CI/CD pipelines.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• VMware v
  Sphere administration and KVM management working experience;
• Operating systems (RHEL based, Ubuntu, Windows Server) and system administration experience;
• Bash/Python scripting experience;
• Hardware and systems essential knowledge (Servers, Switching, Storage);
• Basic TCP/IP networking knowledge;
• Devops based working mindset (Git based workflows, configuration as data/Ia
  C, CI/CD pipelines);
• Capacity to specify and deliver production ready Architecture/Designs;
• Focused and collaborative person;
• Interpersonal communication;
• Fluency in English (oral and written).

Nice to have

• Knowledge about Oracle Linux Virtualization Manager;
• Delivered Openshift projects on an architecture/design perspective;
• Terraform and Ansible working proficiency;
• Containers and Kubernetes knowledge.
